The Ministry of Health has taken a significant step to improve community health services by strengthening collaboration with the Tanzania Health Alliance (THA).
The move aims to expand efforts in educating citizens on major health challenges, including Hepatitis, Mental Health, and HIV/AIDS.
The meeting, held today, March 5, 2026, in Dodoma, brought together senior officials from the Ministry and leaders of THA.
Discussions focused on enhancing health education campaigns, promoting voluntary testing, and encouraging preventive measures to safeguard public health.
Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Secretary Dr. Seif Shekalaghe praised THA’s initiatives and promised the Ministry’s full support to reinforce these programs.
He emphasized that strong collaboration between the Government and private health organizations is key to improving access to quality health services for all citizens.
Through this partnership, the Ministry and THA reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring citizens receive accurate health information, timely preventive and treatment services, and to building healthier, more informed communities across Tanzania.
