CRDB Cup round of 32 draw set for tomorrow

The draw for the Round of 32 of the CRDB Bank Federation Cup is scheduled to take place tomorrow at the Azam TV studios in Tabata, Dar es Salaam, marking another key milestone in Tanzania’s premier knockout football competition.

According to the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), the draw will be conducted during the daytime and will determine the matchups for the next stage of the tournament, with qualified teams set to be paired into groups.

A total of 32 teams have advanced after the Round of 64 matches played last week. Among the qualifiers is defending champion Young Africans SC (Yanga), who will be aiming to retain the title. 

Other notable teams through to the Round of 32 include Simba SC, Azam FC, Namungo FC, Singida Black Stars, Tanzania Prisons SC, and JKT Tanzania.

The list of qualifiers also features Mtibwa Sugar FC, Coastal Union, Dodoma Jiji FC, Kagera Sugar FC, Geita Gold FC, Mashujaa FC, Fountain Gate FC, Mbeya Kwanza FC, Songea United, Transit Camp FC, Bandari FC, Gunners FC, TMA Stars, Kujiweka Nongwa FC, and B19 FC.

The Round of 32 is expected to deliver exciting fixtures as top-flight sides and ambitious lower-division teams vie for a place in the later stages of the competition. 

Fans across the country will be keenly watching the draw to see which teams will face off as the race for the CRDB Bank Federation Cup intensifies.
