TADA completes 2026 events calendar, invites members’ feedback

The Tanzania Darts Association (TADA) has finalised its calendar of events for 2026 and has opened it up for members’ input ahead of implementation, in a move aimed at strengthening planning and widening participation in the sport.

TADA Chairperson Aurungzaib Zafarullahkhan said the Executive Committee has completed the preparation of the calendar, with the current focus now shifting to collecting members’ views to further refine it.

He said members have been invited to suggest improvements, including the addition or removal of events, to ensure the calendar reflects shared priorities and practical realities on the ground.

According to Zafarullahkhan, the calendar also provides room for regions that are ready to bid to host various tournaments scheduled for the year, a strategy intended to promote darts and spread competitions across the country.

“We have already shared the calendar with our members to gather their views on how it can be improved. Our objective is to put in place a calendar that supports the effective execution of our activities throughout the year,” he said.

He added that the feedback process will help make the calendar more inclusive and responsive to the needs of all stakeholders involved in the growth and development of darts in Tanzania.
