Singida Black Stars have implemented key changes to their technical bench in a move aimed at strengthening efficiency and competitiveness as the club continues to participate in both national and international competitions.
According to a statement issued by the club’s Information and Communications Officer, Hussein Massanza, the Board of Directors has appointed David Ouma as the new Head Coach, replacing Miguel Gamondi, who has been reassigned to the role of Technical Director.
The statement said the restructuring also includes the appointment of a General Manager to oversee team operations, while Ramadhan Nsanzurwimo, who previously served as Technical Director, has been reassigned to the position of club adviser.
Massanza said the newly appointed General Manager will work closely with Head Coach Ouma and his technical team, which includes assistant coaches Mousa Nd’awna and Mujibu Kanuni, to ensure effective coordination and improved on-field performance.
He added that members of the technical bench who were not mentioned in the statement will continue to carry out their duties as usual.
On the future of Gamondi, Massanza noted that the club has no objection should the relevant authorities appoint him as the permanent Head Coach of the Taifa Stars, should they consider him suitable for the role.
The leadership said the changes are part of a broader strategy to reinforce the club’s technical capacity and position Singida Black Stars for sustained success at both domestic and international levels.
