Preparations are in full swing for the Tanzania National Volleyball Cup, set to ignite excitement in Dodoma from December 15 to 19 this year. The tournament promises to bring together the nation’s top teams in a showcase of talent and competition.
Following the cup, the Tanzania Volleyball Federation (TVF) will hold its general assembly, culminating in the federation’s main elections on December 21 in Dodoma.
Speaking to The Respondent Online, TVF Deputy Parmanent Secretary Shukuru Ally highlighted the critical role of sponsors, calling on businesses and supporters to step forward and back the event.
He also urged regional teams to confirm their participation as soon as possible, enabling the organizing committee to finalize preparations efficiently.
Ally added that the National Cup will also serve as a platform to identify and select players for Tanzania’s national volleyball team, who will go on to represent the country in international competitions.
With the tournament just weeks away, anticipation is rising, and stakeholders are hopeful for a highly competitive and well-organized event that will elevate volleyball in Tanzania.
