By Flora Mkoloma

Simba SC have resumed training as they gear up for their second Group Stage clash in the CAF Champions League against Stade Malien, set for November 30 in Mali.

The team enjoyed a one-day break after their 1-0 victory over Petro de Luanda in the opening group match on November 23 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Ahmed Ally, the club’s Media and Communications Manager, confirmed that the squad is back in top condition.

“The players had a short rest after our first match. Now, we are fully focused and preparing intensively for the upcoming game,” Ally said.

He added that the coaching staff is reviewing the first match to correct any shortcomings and strengthen the team’s tactics ahead of the crucial away encounter.

Preparations are progressing smoothly, including arrangements for the team’s travel to Mali, with departure planned for Thursday.

Simba SC are determined to build on their opening victory as they aim to advance in Africa’s premier club competition.
