Mtwara-born boxer Osama Alabi, currently training at the Manzese camp, has set his sights on a TKO victory over Morogoro’s Ally Mazome in the highly anticipated Boxing On Boxing Day event.
The fight will take place on December 26, 2025, at Warehouse Masaki Hall in Dar es Salaam.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam, Osama expressed confidence in making history with his first TKO win, urging fans from Mtwara and across Tanzania to attend the event and witness the action firsthand.
“Preparation has been excellent, and my focus is total. The most important thing is to stay safe and ready. I have won my last four matches consecutively, and I believe this is a blessing from God. This is my first encounter with this opponent, so we have prepared intensively,” Osama said.
The boxer expects the fight to end in the sixth round, citing his skill, fitness, and the guidance of his coaches as key factors in his strategy.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the showdown. Supporter Eliud Mwakapala said they are ready to see Osama “dominate his opponent like a cat raiding the family garden.”
The Boxing On Boxing Day card will feature several thrilling matchups. Tanzanian Hassan Mwakinyo will showcase his skills, while Hamadi Furahisha faces Malawian Hanock Phiri.
Other key bouts include Ally Ngwando versus Mussa Makuka, and in the women’s division, Debora Mwenda will clash with Malawian Mariam Dick.
The event promises a full day of high-stakes boxing action, making Warehouse Masaki the place to be on December 26, 2025.
