Dar es Salaam – NCD, one of the sponsors of the 26th MedExpo 2025 held at Diamond Jubilee Hall, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting business growth in Tanzania by connecting more than 8,000 companies, firms, and businesspersons nationwide.
Speaking during an exclusive interview, the company’s Co-Founder and Managing Director of Finance, Mrs. Rehema Ahmed, highlighted that NCD provides a seamless business portal that eliminates the traditional hustle of seeking out vendors, agents, or partners.
“We have over eleven years of experience in connecting businesses and assuring their success without the hard work. We find opportunities for you, provide contacts, and make business connections right from your office,” she explained.
NCD’s participation in MedExpo is part of its broader annual support to projects, expos, and business events across Tanzania.
The company focuses not only on large enterprises but also gives special attention to SMEs, offering tailored activities that make it easier for them to connect and expand.
“We help sectors grow, no matter how small. Our goal is to welcome all businesses and support them in growing their business cycles,” Mrs. Ahmed added.
The company runs a comprehensive online directory and annual printed magazine that feature verified and regularly updated business contacts.
NCD employs a dedicated team of professionals tasked with maintaining accurate and reliable information for its subscribers.
In line with technological advancements, NCD announced plans to launch a smart business application equipped with an AI-powered assistant.
“Our smart AI chatbot will serve clients 24/7. With just a click, users can access company profiles, contacts, and key details. It will also provide instant suggestions to help businesses connect faster and more efficiently,” she revealed.
Beyond networking, NCD also offers professional support services for clients who wish to organize their own exhibitions, conferences, and forums, leveraging its extensive business database.
Commenting on the business environment in Tanzania, Mrs. Ahmed emphasized the importance of supportive government policies to further stimulate private sector growth both on the mainland and Zanzibar.
“We have ambitions to expand our reach across Tanzania and beyond. With government support in ensuring sustainable and business-friendly policies, our directory can become a powerful tool for connecting SMEs with international companies. Just imagine the opportunities that can open up for local businesses,” she said.
The firm also works closely with the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) through various exhibitions.
Recently, NCD signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TCCIA, further expanding opportunities for local businesses to access international markets.
