Makuyuni Wildlife Park emerges as a major attraction for international tourists

Makuyuni Wildlife Park in Arusha is fast establishing itself as one of Tanzania’s most promising tourism destinations, attracting visitors from across the globe with its stunning landscapes and rich wildlife. 

Managed by the Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (TAWA), the park offers a unique combination of natural beauty and diverse species, making it a must-visit destination in northern Tanzania.

On September 8, 2025, Makuyuni welcomed over 20 international tourists from Denmark, Australia, and New Zealand through Ranger Safaris & Tours, a leading tour operator based in Arusha. 

The visitors were impressed by the park’s scenic views, rare attractions, and the variety of wildlife, describing their experience as “truly unforgettable.”

Many tourists praised the park’s high-quality facilities and services, with some committing to return in November for a second visit. 

They also promised to promote Makuyuni Wildlife Park internationally, a move expected to boost the park’s profile and attract more global visitors.

Located in the Makuyuni area of Arusha, the park continues to grow rapidly, offering significant opportunities for Tanzania’s tourism sector.
