Tanzania is positioning itself as a prime destination for investment as it hosts a high-level business forum with a delegation from the Oman Chamber of Commerce.

The event, organized by the Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade), brought together top business leaders to explore collaboration in agriculture, energy, and petroleum sectors.

During the forum, Tanzanian officials assured their Omani counterparts that the country continues to maintain a business-friendly environment, offering competitive tax incentives compared to other African nations.

“Tanzania welcomes investment and is committed to creating an enabling environment for sustainable business growth,” a TanTrade representative said.

The Omani delegation commended Tanzania for its hospitality and for facilitating knowledge sharing and business exchange.

Over the past two decades, economic relations between the two nations have deepened, guided by Tanzania’s Development Vision 2050 and Oman’s Vision 2040.

The forum, held at the Johari Rotana Hotel in Dar es Salaam, provided a platform for entrepreneurs and investors to discuss partnerships, share expertise, and identify opportunities for trade expansion.

Officials emphasized that such engagements are crucial for strengthening bilateral trade and boosting economic growth for both countries.
