The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will be represented by its Legal Director, Felix Majanja, at the upcoming Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA) of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), scheduled for August 16 in Tanga City.

Majanja’s appointment highlights CAF’s dedication to ensuring a transparent and credible election process within its member associations.

The meeting will focus on electing a new TFF Executive Committee, with preparations well underway, including the submission of member credentials under the supervision of the TFF election committee.

Several candidates have declared their intention to contest key leadership positions, including Wallace Karia for the TFF presidency and nominees from various zones such as Lameck Nyambaya, CPA Hosseah Lugano, Khalid Mohamed, James Patrick, Cyprian Kuyava, Evance Mgeusa, Mohamed Aden, Vedastus Lufano, Salum Kulunge, and Issa Bukuku.

This election represents a crucial moment for Tanzanian football, as the federation seeks new leaders to advance the sport’s development across the country.
