The National Sports Council (NSC) has donated sports equipment to Kibadeni International Soccer Academy in Chanika, Dar es Salaam, as part of efforts to support youth talent development.
The equipment was handed over on September 10, 2026, by NSC Senior Sports Officer Charles Maguzu to officials of the academy, which is owned by Abdallah Kibadeni.
The donation included five footballs and 40 towels, which NSC said would help improve training conditions for young players at the academy.
The support is expected to provide the players with better facilities as they undergo training aimed at developing their football skills and preparing them for competitive opportunities.
NSC said it would continue working with institutions involved in identifying, nurturing and developing young sporting talent, including Kibadeni International Soccer Academy.
The council said such partnerships were important in creating opportunities for young people to develop their abilities and pursue careers through sport.
The donation highlights the role of cooperation between sports authorities and talent development centres in building a new generation of athletes capable of competing at national and international levels.
