Foundation for Disabilities Hope (FDH) Executive Director Maiko Salali has visited President Samia Suluhu Hassan at her home in Kizimkazi, South Unguja, to offer condolences following the death of her husband, Maalim Hafidh Ameir Hassan.
Mr Salali was among leaders and other well-wishers who have continued to visit President Samia to express their sympathy following the death of Maalim Hafidh.
Maalim Hafidh died on September 7, 2026, at Emilio Mzena Memorial Hospital in Zanzibar.
The visits have formed part of ongoing condolences to President Samia and her family during the mourning period.
