Simba S.C. produced a dominant and clinical performance to book their place in the CRDB Federation Cup final after a convincing 4–0 victory over Coastal Union in a semi-final clash played on June 20, 2026, at the Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium.

Simba asserted control of the match from the opening whistle, dictating tempo and stretching Coastal Union with quick passing and high pressing.

Their early pressure paid off in the 20th minute when Libasse Gueye opened the scoring with a composed finish, giving Simba a deserved lead after sustained dominance.

After the interval, Simba returned with renewed intensity, maintaining their attacking rhythm and continuing to pin Coastal Union deep in their half.

The second goal arrived in the 55th minute through Nickson Kibabage, who finished confidently to double the advantage and further tilt the tie in Simba’s favour.

Coastal Union struggled to find any response as Simba’s attacking wave continued to build. In the 77th minute, Rushine De Reuck added the third goal, finishing off a well-worked move to effectively seal the outcome.

Just two minutes later, Clatous Chama put the final touch on a commanding display, scoring in the 79th minute to complete the 4–0 rout and underline Simba’s superiority on the day.

The victory sends Simba S.C. into the final of the competition, where they will face either Young Africans S.C. or Azam F.C., who are set to meet in the other semi-final at the CCM Kirumba Stadium.

Simba’s performance highlighted their attacking efficiency, tactical discipline, and squad depth, as they delivered a complete display from start to finish to march confidently into the final.
