Rungwe MP recognized for strong contribution to education sector

Rungwe Member of Parliament in Mbeya Region, CPA Anton Mwantona, has been recognized as a key stakeholder in the education sector after receiving an award acknowledging his significant contribution to the development of education in Rungwe District.

The award was presented by the Rungwe District leadership during the Education Week celebrations, as a sign of appreciation for his continuous efforts to strengthen the learning environment and improve education standards in the area.

According to district officials, CPA Mwantona was selected for the recognition due to his active involvement in supporting education initiatives, particularly in improving school infrastructure and enhancing learning conditions for students across the district.

Speaking after the award presentation, the Secretary to the MP, Meshack Mwalubanda, said the recognition reflects the commitment and dedication shown in advancing the education sector in Rungwe.

He noted that CPA Mwantona has been working in line with national education policies by collaborating with various stakeholders to improve teaching and learning environments, with the aim of raising academic performance among students in the district.
