Tanzania mourns loss of William Lukuvi

The nation is in mourning following the passing of William Vangimembe Lukuvi, former Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (Policy, Parliament, Coordination, and People with Disabilities) and Member of Parliament for Isimani Constituency.

Vice President Balozi Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi expressed his deep condolences, joining President Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan in grieving the loss of a committed and patriotic leader. 

“ Lukuvi will always be remembered for his tireless service to the nation, his constituency, the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party, and the youth wing, Umoja wa Vijana wa CCM (UVCCM),” he said.

Dr. Nchimbi extended heartfelt sympathy to the Speaker of Parliament, Mussa Azzan Zungu, Members of Parliament, the family of the late leader, relatives, friends, and all residents of Isimani.

“May the Lord grant him eternal peace and light,” he added.

Lukuvi’s passing marks the end of a distinguished political career spanning decades, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, leadership, and service to Tanzania.
