Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) has suspended all flights to and from Dubai following the closure of airspace in parts of the Middle East, the airline announced on February 28, 2026.
In a statement issued in Dar es Salaam, the national carrier said the suspension was taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of passengers, crew members and aircraft.
ATCL said the flights will remain suspended until further notice while the airline closely monitors the situation in the Middle East.
The company added that services will resume once conditions are confirmed to be safe and stable.
“Due to airspace closure in the Middle East and in the interest of passenger and crew safety, all flights to and from Dubai have been suspended until further notice,” the airline said in the statement.
The airline advised customers holding tickets for travel to or from Dubai during the affected period to rebook their journeys without additional charges, subject to seat availability.
ATCL further said its contact centre and sales offices remain available to assist passengers with rebooking arrangements and other travel-related inquiries.
The airline apologised for any inconvenience caused by the disruption and thanked customers for their patience and understanding as it continues to monitor developments.
