The Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) has been recognised for its role in supporting and promoting agricultural businesses in Iringa Region.

The award was presented to TADB Managing Director, Mr. Frenk Nyabundege, by Mr. Painetho Madembwe, representing the Tanzania National Chamber of Commerce (TNCC), during a visit to the bank’s head office in Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam. TNCC representatives and officials from AGGOT accompanied the delegation.

The recognition comes in appreciation of TADB’s efforts in facilitating loans and financial support that have improved the livelihoods of farmers in Kilolo District.

Key beneficiaries include tea, coffee, avocado, and maize farmers, whose businesses have grown thanks to access to credit and financial services.

Receiving the award, Mr. Nyabundege reaffirmed TADB’s commitment to expanding financial services to farmers and livestock keepers across the country.

He pledged that the bank will continue promoting agro-business, supporting farmers to increase productivity and contribute to national economic growth.

“This award reflects our ongoing mission to make agriculture a sustainable and profitable venture for farmers, while boosting the country’s economy,” he said.
