The Member of Parliament for Lupa Constituency, Masache Kasaka, has conducted an inspection tour of projects funded by the Chunya Development Fund (CHUDEF) in Chunya District, directing that all works be completed on schedule and in line with the value of public funds invested.
The projects, valued at TZS401.09 million, are being implemented under CHUDEF to support community development initiatives across the constituency.
During the tour, Mr Kasaka, accompanied by members of the CHUDEF Board, assessed progress and urged contractors and implementing teams to prioritise quality and efficiency.
“These projects must reflect the value of the money allocated. They should be completed on time and meet the required standards so that wananchi can see and feel the impact,” he said.
He stressed that public funds must be safeguarded through strict supervision and accountability, noting that development projects are central to improving social services and livelihoods in Lupa.
The MP was joined by the Chunya District Administrative Secretary, council officials and technical experts from various departments, who provided updates on implementation progress and challenges encountered.
CHUDEF supports projects in key sectors such as education, health, water and infrastructure, with the aim of accelerating grassroots development in Chunya District.
