Young Africans SC (Yanga) has announced ticket prices for the highly anticipated Wiki ya Mwananchi festival, which will climax on September 12, 2025, at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The highlight of the day will be an international friendly match pitting Yanga against Kenya’s Bandari FC, offering fans a thrilling encounter alongside vibrant celebrations of the club’s identity and culture.
Speaking yesterday in Dar es Salaam, Yanga’s Communications Officer revealed that tickets have been set at different categories to accommodate all fans.
VIP A will cost TSh 50,000, VIP B TSh 30,000, VIP C TSh 15,000, Orange Stand TSh 10,000, while Regular Stand tickets will go for TSh 5,000.
He urged fans to purchase tickets early and attend in large numbers, noting that the club has put in place measures to make ticketing and stadium entry smooth and convenient.
“We have organized a friendly system to ensure tickets are easily available and entry to the stadium is seamless, so that fans can focus on enjoying the event without any inconvenience,” he said.
In the build-up to the festival, Yanga will today launch its mobilization campaign at Zakhiem grounds in Mbagala.
The event will feature fan engagement activities and the unveiling of artists who will perform during the grand finale of Wiki ya Mwananchi.
The annual festival, a signature event for Yanga, not only celebrates football but also brings together music, culture, and fan spirit, making it one of the biggest spectacles in Tanzania’s sporting calendar.
