The District Commissioner of Same, Hon. Kasilda Mgeni, today sent her best wishes to Standard Seven pupils in the district who officially began their Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE), expressing confidence that Same District will perform well at the national level.

Speaking from her office in Same town, Mgeni congratulated the students on reaching this important milestone and encouraged them to believe in themselves and stay focused in order to achieve their dreams.

“Today is a big day for our children. It is a day to assess the efforts they and their teachers have put in. I congratulate them for reaching this stage and wish them all the best. We believe Same will shine by performing excellently at the national level,” said Mgeni.

The District Commissioner emphasized that adequate preparations had been made and urged students to adhere to examination ethics and avoid any form of cheating.

She also called on teachers and invigilators to ensure a calm and fair examination environment for all candidates.

In addition, she took the opportunity to thank parents, guardians, teachers, and other education stakeholders for their continued support throughout the exam preparation period.

“We are grateful to the community for coming together to support the students  whether through providing food, transport, or a peaceful study environment. This collaboration shows that education is truly a shared responsibility,” added Mgeni.

The DC also encouraged the students to remain calm in the coming days, eat well, and get enough rest to enable them to sit for the remaining exams effectively.

The national exams for Standard Seven students are scheduled to continue for two days starting today, covering core subjects such as Kiswahili, Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Studies
