Miryam Mjema has officially collected a nomination form to vie for the Same East parliamentary seat under the ruling party CCM, signaling her intent to serve the constituency and contribute to its socio-economic transformation.

Speaking shortly after receiving the form, Ms Mjema said her candidacy aims to build on the legacy of the outgoing Member of Parliament, who has represented the constituency across multiple terms.

“My goal is to continue strengthening development efforts and ensure the people of Same East benefit from inclusive economic growth,” she said.

She collected the form at the CCM district office in Same shortly before 8:00 AM, where she was welcomed by the CCM District Secretary, Mr Amos Kusakula, who officially handed her the nomination documents.
