The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, has congratulated Yanga SC on their impressive 3-1 victory against TP Mazembe in a CAF Champions League group-stage match held today at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Dr. Samia extended her commendation on January 4, 2025, acknowledging the team's effort and success.
"I wish you the best of luck in the remaining matches of the tournament.
Keep entertaining us while proudly flying our national flag on the international stage," she remarked.
With two group-stage matches left, Yanga will travel for an away game against Al Hilal before concluding the stage at home against MC Alger at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
