Itel Tanzania supports Tandale Primary School with essential supplies

Itel Tanzania has donated a variety of essential items to Tandale Primary School, located in Kinondoni District, Dar es Salaam, as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at giving back to the community.

The donation package includes three computers, office chairs for the teachers' staffroom, textbooks, notebooks, school bags, sanitary towels for girls, sports equipment, and various gifts for the students.

During the handover ceremony, Itel Tanzania's Public Relations Officer, Sophia Msafiri, highlighted the company’s commitment to supporting the community, particularly schools, children with special needs, and other social initiatives.

"Itel Tanzania has selected Tandale Primary School to receive these gifts today. It is our tradition to support primary and secondary schools, as well as orphanages, and to engage in community outreach," Sophia said.

She also reaffirmed the company’s ongoing commitment to continue these efforts through its social responsibility programs.

The Headteacher of Tandale Primary School, Andrew John, expressed his appreciation to Itel Tanzania for the generous contribution, noting that it will positively impact the school’s education delivery.

He added that the school, with over 2,000 students, is one of the top-performing institutions in Kinondoni District, and the donation is expected to further enhance its efficiency.
