The Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE) has showcased its wide range of educational publications at the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (Sabasaba), attracting a visit from the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ambassador Waziri Rajabu Salum.
During his tour of the TIE pavilion, Ambassador Salum inspected various learning materials on display, including textbooks and other educational resources developed to support teaching and learning across the country.
He also signed the visitors' book in recognition of the institution's participation in this year's exhibition.
TIE is using the annual trade fair to promote and sell a broad selection of educational books, including Advanced Level (Forms Five and Six) textbooks, as well as learning materials for pre-primary, primary and ordinary secondary schools.
The institution says its participation in the exhibition reflects its commitment to improving access to quality learning materials while showcasing the role of educational publishing in strengthening Tanzania's education sector.
The 50th Sabasaba trade fair has brought together government institutions, private companies and development partners to exhibit products, services and innovations, providing a platform for networking, business promotion and public engagement.
