Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is expected to arrive in Tanzania on July 18 for a state visit that is set to reinforce political, economic and development cooperation between the two countries.

According to a statement issued by the Directorate of Presidential Communications at State House, President El-Sisi will hold official talks with President Samia Suluhu Hassan on a broad range of bilateral and regional issues.

The meeting is expected to focus on strengthening the long-standing relationship between Tanzania and Egypt while expanding cooperation in strategic sectors, including trade, investment, education, health, water resources, security and infrastructure development.

A key highlight of the visit will be the Tanzania-Egypt Business Forum, where business leaders and investors from both countries will meet to explore new trade and investment opportunities aimed at boosting commercial ties.

The visit comes as Tanzania and Egypt continue to deepen collaboration through development projects, capacity-building initiatives and the exchange of technical expertise across various sectors.

State House said the visit is expected to open a new phase of bilateral cooperation by strengthening economic partnerships and advancing shared development priorities for the two nations.

President El-Sisi's visit underscores the growing importance of Tanzania-Egypt relations amid increasing efforts by both governments to expand economic diplomacy and regional cooperation.
