Government and Religious leaders emphasize unity and support for Hajj Pilgrims

The Minister of Livestock and Fisheries, Abdallah Ulega, delivered greetings from President Samia Suluhu Hassan to Muslim faithful, highlighting the importance of continued prayers for peace, stability, and unity in Tanzania.

Speaking during a religious gathering, the minister said peace in the country is sustained through cooperation and understanding among citizens of different faiths. 

He stressed that national stability depends on unity and collective responsibility in maintaining harmony within communities.

He added that the Government will continue working with religious institutions to support initiatives that promote moral values, social responsibility, and national development. 

According to him, collaboration with faith-based organizations remains important in strengthening community cohesion.

Religious leaders at the event expressed appreciation for the ongoing facilitation provided to Tanzanian pilgrims performing Hajj. 

They noted that improvements in coordination and support services have helped ease travel and ensured that pilgrims complete their religious duties with fewer challenges.

They also highlighted the need for continued engagement between Government institutions and religious organizations to further improve service delivery for pilgrims in future seasons.

The gathering included prayers for national peace, stability, and development. Participants prayed for President Samia Suluhu Hassan, Government leaders, and citizens, asking for continued harmony and cooperation across the country.

The event concluded with reflections on the return of pilgrims from Hajj, with participants offering thanks for their safe arrival after completing the spiritual journey that brings together Muslims from around the world.
