The University President's Forum took place in Jinhua, China from April 14 to 20, 2026. The forum was attended by distinguished University leaders, scholars and partners from around the World to celebrate academic Cooperation and explore new opportunities for future cooperation.
The dialogue was focused on "Synergy, Transformation and Sustainability: Building a New Paradigm for China-Africa Higher Education Cooperation".
The forum was also part of the celebrations of the 70th Anniversary of Zhejiang Normal University.
ADEM as one the valued partners from Africa was represented by Chief Executive Officer Dr. Maulid J. Maulid who presented the topic on "Synergy to Sustainability: Reimagining Educational Management in Tanzania through Bilateral Partnerships with China".
Professor William Anangisye the Vice Chancellor University of Dar Es Salaam presented the topic themed " From Partnership on Paper to Partnership in Practice: Revisiting UDSM's Digital Education Partnership with ZJNU"
Professor Method Samwel the Principal Mkwawa University (MUCE) has his topic themed "Introducing MUCE in the context of Collaboration with China"
Professor William Amos Palangyo the Rector Tanzania Institute of Accountancy and Professor Abdi from State University of Zanzibar participated in the roundtable discussion to discuss further on key issues raised during presentations.
The Zhejiang Normal University has also appointed Professor William Anangisye, Professor William Palangyo, Professor Method Samwel Semiono, Dr. Maulid J. Maulid and Dr. Macha as the Researchers of the China-Africa Consortium of Universities Exchange Mechanism.
The forum was attended by hundreds of participants across the World. Tanzania will benefit with exchange programmes, scholarship opportunities, and capacity building in the areas of Educational technologies including AI, Instructional design, leadership and the teaching of STEM subjects.
