Simba SC continued their strong run in the NBC Tanzania Mainland Premier League with a convincing 2-0 win against KMC at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam.

The visitors broke the deadlock in the 37th minute when Selemani Mwalimu found the back of the net. Just before halftime, striker Libasse Gueye sealed the win with a second goal in the 45+2 minute, sending Simba into the break with a comfortable two-goal advantage.

In the second half, Simba controlled the game, defending their lead resolutely and securing three valuable points that strengthen their position in the title race.

The loss leaves KMC struggling at the lower end of the league table, continuing their challenging run of poor results.

Elsewhere in the league, Singida Black Stars claimed three important points with a narrow 1-0 victory over Fountain Gate at the Azam Complex in Chamazi, Dar es Salaam.

Pamba Jiji also enjoyed a slim 1-0 win against Namungo, climbing to second place in the league standings with their hard-fought victory.
