The Regional Commissioner of Dar es Salaam, Albert John Chalamila, is continuing his working tour in Kinondoni District, where today he is meeting and listening to citizens’ complaints in Wazo Ward, Nyakasangwe Street.
While opening the public hearing session in the area, Chalamila urged residents to follow legal procedures in property ownership, particularly land ownership, in order to prevent the increasing number of ownership disputes reported in various parts of the region.
He stated that failure to follow legal ownership procedures has contributed to the rise of disputes that inconvenience citizens and slow down community development.
He noted that the government will continue providing public education and strengthening enforcement of laws to ensure fairness and justice for all.
The Regional Commissioner further explained that the visit is continuing today in the ward, where he is conducting a special one-on-one complaint hearing session aimed at addressing individual grievances, particularly land disputes and other social challenges facing residents in the area.
He noted that the approach is intended to give citizens an opportunity to present their concerns in detail to enable timely and sustainable solutions.
Chalamila emphasized that the visit also aims to resolve broader community challenges, including issues related to social services such as infrastructure, health, education, and land management.
He reaffirmed that the regional government will continue working closely with local leaders and residents to ensure public concerns are addressed promptly, while encouraging citizens to cooperate with government authorities in resolving development challenges.
