The Regional Commissioner (RC) of Dar es Salaam, Albert Chalamila, continued his three-day tour of development projects in Kinondoni District today, focusing on health and education initiatives that directly benefit citizens.
Chalamila visited Shifaa Hospital (Pan Afrikan Hospital Limited) in Hananasifu, Kinondoni, a private health facility providing essential medical services to the community.
He commended the hospital’s high-quality services and the significant investment made by the private sector.
He also instructed the Kinondoni Municipal Council to set aside more areas for private investment, encouraging citizens and businesses to contribute to the district’s growth and the nation’s development.
In Tandale, the RC inspected Tarimba Abbas Secondary School, a modern multi-story school with 21 classrooms, a library, three science laboratories, a computer lab, an administration block, and 44 toilets.
He praised the project’s progress and stressed that development is for everyone, beyond politics. Chalamila thanked President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for her commitment to supporting education and other key sectors across Tanzania.
Residents are reminded that RC Chalamila’s tour continues tomorrow, February 13, 2026, in Nyakasangwe, where he will personally listen to citizens’ concerns and provide solutions on the spot. Everyone is encouraged to participate and make their voices heard.
