The Tanzania Mining Commission has released the latest indicative prices for gold and silver, providing guidance for miners, traders, and buyers in the country.
Gold is currently valued at USD 5,077.72 per troy ounce on the world market, equivalent to 421,530.67 Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) per gram.
Locally, the mineral market price is 379,377.60 TZS per gram, while buying centers purchase gold at 370,946.99 TZS per gram.
Silver has a world market price of USD 83.52 per troy ounce, or 6,933.47 TZS per gram. The local mineral market price is 6,240.13 TZS per gram, and buying centers pay 6,101.46 TZS per gram.
