The Dar es Salaam Regional Volleyball Association (DAREVA) has finalized the appointments for its 2026 League Board and committees, a strategic move aimed at strengthening governance, promoting transparency, and ensuring sustainable growth of volleyball in Dar es Salaam.
According to a statement from the association, the appointments were made to improve league management systems and elevate the level of competition among clubs and players.
“DAREVA is pleased to inform the public, stakeholders, clubs, players, and fans that the formation of the League Board and committees for 2026 has been successfully completed,” the statement read.
Under the new structure, the League Board will be chaired by Peter Kaahwa, with Salumu Idd Mnubi serving as Board Secretary and Nasoro Amani Sharifu as Board Coordinator.
The Technical Commission will be led by Joseph Cyprian Mwadua, the Referees Commission by Greyson Joseph Kihogo, and the Coaches Commission by Papa Hamisi Papa.
Board members include Clement Athanas Hema, Victoria Godfrey Zambi, and Robin Yohana Msigwa, alongside other representatives drawn from managers of Serie A and Serie B teams.
DAREVA expressed confidence that the newly appointed leaders and committees will perform their roles with professionalism, integrity, and commitment, ensuring the continued growth of the league and improving the standard of volleyball in Dar es Salaam.
The association also urged all stakeholders to maintain their support and collaboration to achieve the league’s developmental objectives and further promote volleyball at the regional level.
