Residents of Dar es Salaam Region have commended and expressed their appreciation to the Government and the country’s security and defense organs for their continued efforts in maintaining peace and security, which have enabled citizens to carry on with their economic and social activities smoothly.
Speaking on behalf of residents, entrepreneur Ms. Julieth Masaki, a resident of Ilala District in Dar es Salaam City, said the improved state of peace and security has boosted morale and encouraged citizens to focus more on business and other economic activities.
She particularly praised the Government for its strong measures in controlling crime and criminal activities.
Ms. Masaki also called upon Almighty God to continue protecting Tanzania and preserving the peace that prevails in the country.
She emphasized the importance of every Tanzanian playing an active role in safeguarding peace, unity, and national solidarity.
“I am truly encouraged to see the security and defense organs continuing to fulfill their responsibilities and assuring us of safety and security. This gives us the freedom to carry out our work in peace and harmony,” said Ms. Masaki.
“I pray for them to be granted even greater professionalism and strength as they carry out their duties.”he added
Residents reaffirmed their commitment to cooperating with security agencies to ensure that the peace and stability enjoyed in Dar es Salaam and the country at large are sustained for future generations.
