The Parliament of Tanzania has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Honourable Jenista Joakim Mhagama, the Member of Parliament for Peramiho, who died today in Dodoma.
Speaker of the National Assembly, Honourable Mussa Azzan Zungu (MP), extended heartfelt condolences to the late MP’s family, colleagues, and constituents.
“It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Honourable Jenista Joakim Mhagama. I offer my deepest sympathies to her family, fellow parliamentarians, and the people of Peramiho. May God grant them strength and patience in this difficult time,” Speaker Zungu said.
Parliament, together with the late MP’s family, will provide details of the funeral arrangements in due course.
The Speaker’s office confirmed that more information about the ceremonies will be shared once finalized.
The statement concluded: “May God grant eternal peace to the soul of the late Honourable Jenista Joakim Mhagama. Amen.”
