Residents of Bukombe District are witnessing significant improvements in infrastructure and public services, thanks to the development vision of President and CCM Presidential candidate, Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.
CCM parliamentary candidate for Bukombe, Dr. Doto Mashaka Biteko, highlighted these achievements during a campaign rally held on October 12, 2025.
Dr. Biteko said President Samia’s leadership has brought practical solutions to the challenges facing local communities.
“Through her slogan of action and humanity, Dr. Samia has shown that real development comes from serving the people. She prioritizes human welfare and backs it with concrete actions,” he noted.
Over the past five years, Bukombe has seen the completion of major projects such as the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Dam, the JPM Bridge, upgraded asphalt roads within and outside the district, and new street lighting, all of which have created safer, more accessible, and business-friendly environments.
Dr. Biteko emphasized that these developments reflect how visionary leadership can transform communities.
He pledged to continue serving the people with integrity, responsiveness, and dedication, ensuring that the progress achieved is sustained and expanded.
Residents attending the rally expressed optimism that continued support for President Samia’s initiatives will bring further improvements in social services, business opportunities, and the overall quality of life in Bukombe.
