Simba SC will take on Gaborone United in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League tomorrow in Botswana, aiming to secure a spot in the tournament’s group stage.
Speaking from Angola, Simba head coach Fadlu Davids said the team is fully prepared for the high-stakes clash.
“Our aim is clear we want to perform at our best and earn a place in this year’s group stage,” Davids said. “To advance, we must win both the home and away legs, and we are determined to do exactly that.”
Davids highlighted that recent key matches, including Simba Day and the Community Shield, have helped the team build form and readiness for the upcoming encounter.
On the opposition, he added, “I have great respect for the opposing coach and their team. They are strong competitors, and we are ready to face them.”
Simba’s supporters will be hoping that the team’s preparation and experience translate into a decisive victory as they look to maintain their status as one of Africa’s top clubs.
