Dr. Biteko calls on Busonzo residents to deliver decisive votes for CCM

Busonzo residents are set to benefit from ongoing development projects in electricity, water, and education, as CCM pledges further progress in the area ahead of the October 29 general elections.

Bukombe parliamentary candidate, Doto Mashaka Biteko, has urged voters in Busonzo Ward, Bukombe District, Geita Region, to turn out in large numbers and support CCM candidates, securing a resounding victory in the upcoming polls.

Dr. Biteko made the appeal on September 9, 2025, during a campaign visit to Busonzo, where he highlighted the significant progress achieved under the leadership of President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

He noted that Idoselo, a key area in Busonzo, previously faced challenges such as poor road infrastructure and inadequate educational facilities.

In response, the President directed the construction of roads, schools, and a hospital to improve living standards.

“At Idoselo, we have established a major 5-megawatt electricity generation station to provide reliable power for residents. We are also working to expand water access, and after the elections, we will develop the water source further to ensure a steady and dependable supply,” Dr. Biteko said.

He outlined CCM’s development priorities, including the construction of a new secondary school in Idoselo to ease the burden on students who currently travel to Busonzo for education.

Dr. Biteko called on citizens and CCM members to participate actively in the elections, supporting Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for President, voting for him as the Bukombe parliamentary candidate, and electing John Merikiori as the Busonzo Ward councilor.

John Merikiori, the CCM councilor candidate for Busonzo, urged residents to fulfill their civic duty by voting for CCM candidates, promising that the party will continue delivering tangible development for the community.
