The Office of the Attorney General has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Office to enhance efficiency and ensure better legal and policy support in the delivery of public services.
Speaking on behalf of the Attorney General,Hamza S. Johari, the Director of Coordination and Legal Advisory Division, Ms. Neema Ringo, made the remarks on July 4, 2025, during her official visit to the Prime Minister’s Office pavilion at the ongoing 49th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), held at the Julius Nyerere Grounds.
“We commend the Prime Minister’s Office for the invitation. We remain committed to deepening our partnership in supporting government operations, particularly in ensuring that citizens access timely and effective services backed by sound legal guidance,” said Ms. Ringo.
During the visit, Ms. Ringo toured various sections of the pavilion, where she observed key projects and strategic programmes implemented by the Prime Minister’s Office.
These included national development initiatives, policy execution frameworks, and tangible outcomes in areas such as economic empowerment, employment generation, and disaster coordination.
She applauded the presence of various government institutions under the Prime Minister’s Office for their proactive engagement with the public and their efforts to raise awareness about ongoing government interventions.
“I congratulate the teams for their continued commitment to educating citizens. Platforms like Sabasaba should be fully utilised as a bridge between the government and the people offering a direct channel for dialogue and transparency on matters that impact everyday lives,” she said.
This year’s DITF, which runs from June 28 to July 13, has brought together hundreds of exhibitors from both Tanzania and abroad. The event serves as a key platform for fostering innovation, boosting trade, and enhancing collaboration between the public and private sectors.
The Attorney General’s Office has been a key legal pillar in facilitating sound governance and ensuring that the rule of law remains central to government decision-making and service delivery. Strengthening institutional collaboration, officials say, will further enable seamless implementation of national policies.
