Simba eyes three points against CS Sfaxien

By Flora Mkoloma

Simba SC will face SC Sfaxien tomorrow in a crucial CAF Confederation Cup match set to take place in Tunisia.

Simba enters the game with the confidence of a 2-1 victory in their previous encounter, held at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Ahead of the match, Simba's head coach, Fadlu David’s, expressed the team's clear objective: securing all three points.

He acknowledged the challenges of playing away but emphasized their determination to achieve a positive result.

“We have great respect for our opponents, especially since they are playing at home.

However, Simba is a well-established club with a strong history of success in CAF competitions, including away games,” David’s remarked.

Che Malone, one of the players, also spoke about the upcoming match, acknowledging the difficulty ahead.

“Tomorrow’s game will not be easy, but we are well-prepared mentally, physically, and tactically to deliver a good performance.

With God's guidance, we believe we can make it,” said Malone.

The match will be played without spectators due to a CAF-imposed ban on Sfaxien following a previous incident.
