Clubs that took part in the 2024 National Volleyball League (TVNL) and are interested in competing in the African Zone Five Volleyball Championship have been called upon to confirm their participation promptly.
The tournament, open to both men’s and women’s teams, is scheduled to take place from February 17 to 22, 2025, in Kampala, Uganda.
Tanzania Volleyball Federation (TVF) spokesperson, Kepha Malecela, announced that confirmation requires payment of a $1,000 participation fee for each category.
He stressed that the deadline for confirmation is January 10, 2025, urging clubs to contact the Technical Director to secure their spots.
"As a federation, we have received international invitations, including this prestigious tournament.
We encourage clubs that participated in the 2024 TVNL to begin preparations for their involvement," Malecela stated.
Separately, an invitation has also been extended for the Men’s African Club Championship, set to take place in Libya from April 17 to 30, 2025.
The participation fee for this event is also $1,000, with a confirmation deadline of February 28, 2025.
