Residents of Ikuvilo village in Luhota ward, Iringa rural district, have been urged to come out in large numbers to verify their information to be able to vote in the upcoming general election.
This was stated by the development stakeholder and member of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party, Lawyer Sosten Mbedule, after verifying his own information.
He said it is important for every citizen to verify their information so they can exercise their fundamental rights to choose the leaders they want.
"Ikuvilo village residents should take this opportunity, go to the polling station, and verify their information to avoid inconvenience later," he said, adding,
"Those whose cards are damaged or lost, the election officer will assist them with the procedures to get a new card," said Lawyer Mbedule.
The General Election of Tanzania, expected to take place in October 2025, will involve electing the President, Members of Parliament, and Councilors.
