Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office responsible for Regional Administration and Local Government, Prof Riziki Shemdoe, has held talks with Ruvuma Regional Commissioner, MPs and other leaders from Mbinga District on measures to improve the implementation of development projects.
The meeting focused on strengthening supervision and speeding up the implementation of projects to ensure they deliver the intended benefits to residents.
Prof Shemdoe discussed with the leaders practical measures to improve coordination and address challenges that could delay the implementation of development projects in Mbinga.
The discussions also sought to ensure that projects are implemented efficiently and in line with the needs and priorities of local communities.
The meeting was held on September 22, 2026, at the Prime Minister’s Office–Regional Administration and Local Government offices in Magogoni, Dar es Salaam.
Minister for Industry and Trade Judith Kapinga, who is also the Member of Parliament for Mbinga Rural, attended the meeting.
