The Mining Commission is using the ninth National Mineral Technology and Investment Exhibition in Geita to showcase investment opportunities, mining technologies and services available across Tanzania’s mineral sector.
The exhibition, which runs from September 23 to October 3, 2026, is being held at the Dkt. Samia Suluhu Hassan Grounds in Bomba Mbili, bringing together investors, miners, mineral traders and members of the public.
The Commission’s stand provides visitors with direct access to its experts, who are offering information on mineral exploration, mining, processing, trading and investment.
A key attraction is the Commission’s Mineral Laboratory, where visitors can learn how modern technology is used to identify and analyse minerals.
Among the technologies being demonstrated is X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), which is used in the analysis of metallic minerals and can provide information about their elemental composition.
The exhibition also gives mining stakeholders an opportunity to exchange knowledge and learn from businesses and individuals who have successfully turned mineral resources into productive economic activities.
The Commission said the exhibition is intended to help connect stakeholders with technical expertise and information that can support investment and value addition in the mining sector.
Investors, miners, traders and members of the public have been encouraged to visit the Commission’s stand before the exhibition closes on October 3 to learn more about mineral opportunities, technology and regulatory services.
The annual exhibition provides a platform for showcasing Tanzania’s mineral potential while promoting technology, investment and wider participation in the sector.
