Singida Black Stars produced an impressive attacking display to beat Polisi Tanzania 4-2 in an NBC Premier League match played on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Airtel Stadium in Singida.

Polisi Tanzania made a bright start and took the lead in the 13th minute through Baraka Mwambule, putting the visitors in front early in the contest.

Singida Black Stars responded strongly, with Jonathan Sowah restoring parity in the 25th minute before James Mwashinga completed the comeback five minutes later to give the hosts a 2-1 advantage.

Singida continued to press and were rewarded in the 42nd minute when Shekhan Hamis scored their third goal.

Polisi Tanzania, however, refused to go into the break without a response. Ibrahim Mohammed pulled one back in first-half stoppage time, reducing the deficit to 3-2 at half-time.

The second half saw both sides create attacking moves as they searched for the next goal, while also working to protect their respective defences.

Singida Black Stars eventually found the breakthrough in the 74th minute when Jeancy Mboma scored the fourth goal to effectively settle the contest.

The hosts held on through the remaining minutes to secure a 4-2 victory and claim all three points after an entertaining six-goal encounter.
