TEA training transforms child’s future through tailoring skills

By Our Reporter, Dar es Salaam

A parent, Ms. Catalina Joseph, has expressed her admiration after witnessing the remarkable tailoring skills developed by her child through vocational training supported by the Tanzania Education Authority (TEA).

Ms. Catalina, who visited the TEA pavilion during the exhibition, said she was impressed by the creativity, confidence and quality of products displayed by her child, noting that the skills gained had exceeded her expectations.

She said vocational training had played a significant role in changing her child’s life by providing practical abilities that could support future economic independence.

“I did not expect to see such a big transformation in my child within a short period. The skills and creativity demonstrated show the importance of investing in practical education,” she said.

Ms. Catalina commended TEA for supporting programmes that equip young people with hands-on skills, saying such initiatives give learners opportunities to create employment opportunities and contribute to the economy.

The TEA pavilion has continued to attract visitors at the ongoing exhibition, with many showing interest in education initiatives aimed at strengthening practical skills development among Tanzanian youth.
