The Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, has received copies of credentials from the Kuwait Ambassador-designate to Tanzania, Salem Yousif Alhamdan, during a brief meeting held at the Ministry’s sub-office in Dar es Salaam.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on strengthening bilateral relations between Tanzania and Kuwait, with a focus on expanding cooperation in key development areas.
Discussions centered on enhancing collaboration in trade, investment, infrastructure development, health, agriculture, and water resources, which are considered vital for supporting sustainable development in both countries.
Mr Kombo welcomed the ambassador-designate and congratulated him on his appointment, assuring him of Tanzania’s continued cooperation and support in the discharge of his diplomatic responsibilities.
On his part, Mr Alhamdan expressed appreciation for the strong and friendly relations already existing between the two countries and pledged to work towards further strengthening cooperation for the mutual benefit of their citizens.
