Azam FC are determined to secure all three points when they host Pamba Jiji FC in the NBC Premier League match scheduled for May 14 at Azam Complex in Chamazi, Dar es Salaam.

The hosts head into the encounter looking to bounce back from a heavy 4-1 defeat against TRA United FC in their previous outing played in Arusha. The result has added pressure on Azam FC to respond positively in front of their home supporters.

In their first-round meeting, Azam FC were held to a draw away from home, a result that reflects the strong competition between the two sides this season.

Speaking ahead of the match, Azam FC Information Officer Hashim Ibwe said the team is fully focused on collecting maximum points, noting that the opponents have shown strong form in recent matches.

He said the team is aware of the challenge ahead but remains confident of delivering a strong performance at home.

“We are fully prepared for this match and our target is to win. We will approach the game with discipline, focus and determination to ensure we get the three points at home,” said Ibwe.

Azam FC are also balancing their league campaign with preparations for the quarter-final of the CRDB Federation Cup, where they will face Mashujaa FC at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma.

As the season intensifies, Azam FC will be aiming to strengthen their position in both league and cup competitions.
