The Tanzania Volleyball Federation (TVF) has urged all volleyball clubs across the country to make full use of the remaining days of the mid-season transfer window and complete all player registration procedures in line with established regulations.
Speaking to The Respondent Online, TVF Director of Administration Riziki Godwin said clubs are required to register two players each during the current transfer window, as stipulated in the federation’s guidelines.
He stressed that the window will officially close on April 30 this year, with no extension expected, calling on clubs to act promptly to avoid missing the opportunity.
“Time will not be extended Clubs must ensure they utilize the remaining time effectively while strictly adhering to the registration rules,” said Godwin.
He noted that timely completion of registration processes is essential for smooth preparations ahead of upcoming competitions and for maintaining order within the sport’s administrative system.
Godwin further explained that players registered during this window will be eligible to feature in the National Volleyball League in the next season.
He said this makes it important for clubs to carefully evaluate their squad needs and make strategic decisions that will strengthen competition and improve performance levels.
According to TVF, compliance with transfer rules is part of broader efforts to enhance professionalism, fairness, and competitiveness in volleyball governance.
The federation has continued to emphasize discipline in following procedures as a key pillar in developing the sport.
As the deadline approaches, clubs are expected to complete all required documentation and finalize player movements in good time to avoid last-minute complications that could affect eligibility.
TVF has reaffirmed that there will be no extension beyond April 30, reinforcing its message that clubs must act within the set timeframe to ensure a smooth and well-regulated transfer process.
