The Staff Council of the Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) has conducted a strategic working visit to the Kwala Industrial Cluster, including the Dry Port in Pwani Region.
The initiative aims to reinforce collaboration between TanTrade and industrial stakeholders while advancing efforts to promote local trade and production of Tanzanian-made goods.
During the visit, the delegation toured factories producing a variety of products, including roofing sheets and refrigerators.
TanTrade experts engaged with factory managers, offering technical guidance and highlighting government measures aimed at improving the business environment, boosting the competitiveness of Tanzanian products, and strengthening the country’s position in both local and international markets.
This visit also served as part of the preparations for the TanTrade Staff Council meeting, scheduled for March 31, 2026, in Pwani, where further discussions on strategies to support industrial growth and domestic production are expected.
